AGAINST THE SEASON

AGAINST THE SEASON is an emerging Melodic/Rock band who originated from Minneapolis, Minnesota and are now currently residing in Salt Lake City, Utah. They are gearing up for the release of their first original EP entitled "A New Beginning", due to drop april 11th 2009 at their own CD release party in Provo, Utah.  In their debut ablum they've created a blend of musical energy that offers a wide variety of style and sounds you wouldn't typically find in your average rock album. A slew of passionate lyrics and driving melodies create a unique sound that captivates audiences from all different walks of life. Perhaps what is most fascinating about the group is that they are bound together not only by  music, but they are siblings, and even more interesting, is that they are polynesian. Brought together by their talents, and musical abilities, their culture and their family bond, they have managed to grow together with leaps and bound musically. With a  D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) mentality, the band  has also managed to write&produce their whole album, perform and play shows, and build a significant following with their unique sound and style.  While plenty of monotonous bands form rapidly across the country, Against The Season stands out as something beyond average, with their Polynesian background, and family values, they earn instant attention from new viewers and fans of their shows.
